If you're not quite done with messed up British aristocracy tales, Guy Ritchie has expanded his 2019 film The Gentlemen into a Netflix series, and the first teaser has dropped.

Ritchie created, co-wrote, and executive produced the series, as well as directed the first two episodes. Essentially, the series is set "in the world" of the film, but doesn't have any of the original characters. The White Lotus' Theo James leads the TV show as Eddie Horniman, who inherits his father's enormous country estate — with strings. Eddie soon learns it's connected to a rather sizeable crime empire and all the rivals that go with it, so he's pulled into the game.

Giancarlo Esposito, Kaya Scodelario, Vinnie Jones, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Peter Serafinowicz, Chanel Cresswell, Dar Salim, Michael Vu, Max Beesley, Jasmine Blackborow, Pearce Quigley, Ruby Sear, and Harry Goodwins also star, and Ray Winstone has just been revealed as part of the cast too (he's in the trailer).

How to watch: The Gentlemen is streaming on Netflix in March.
