Nimona is finally (almost) here! After years of development and even being canceled entirely, the animated film based on ND Stevenson's (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) graphic novel has a release date at Netflix: June 30.

In Nimona's first teaser trailer, we also get a taste of the titular shapeshifter herself. Nimona (voiced by Chloë Grace Moretz) is able to change form at will — a whale, a rhino, a shark, she can do it all! What she can't do is be a perfect fairy tale character, something we learn quickly as she fantasizes about burning down castles in her spare time.

However, Nimona might wind up doing some good when she partners with disgraced knight Ballister Boldheart (voiced by Riz Ahmed). Accused of a crime he didn't commit, Ballister is determined to prove his innocence, and Nimona presents herself as a trusty sidekick. They're a bit of an odd pair — she wants to wreak havoc, he just wants to clear his name — but together, they might be able to stop the evil lurking in their medieval futuristic kingdom.

Nimona hits Netflix June 30.
