Can someone be both a "mastermind" and a "doddering old man" at the same time? If you ask Fox News about President Joe Biden, the answer appears to be yes.

In the clip above, The Daily Show host Desi Lydic and panellist Jordan Klepper draw attention to the mixed messages being pumped out by Fox, with the channel framing Biden as everything from "senile" to "smooth operator", the latter according to host Jesse Watters.

"I don't know if I can believe all of that at once!" Lydic says to Klepper at the end of the segment.

"The good news is, you don't have to," responds Klepper. "Just believe whichever parts keep you scared enough to watch through the commercial break. Then Fox News will be happy. Don't get too afraid, though — Joe Biden can smell fear from over a mile away. It's how he hunts."
