Streaming services have become a modern cultural staple: we build them into our monthly bills alongside rent and electricity. However, there are always loopholes to get out of paying full price for the top apps. If you've had your eye on a particular streaming service, see if this week's best streaming deals are the incentive you've been waiting for.

Our top pick

Starz
Three months for $3 per month (save $21)

Why we like it

Starz deals come and go regularly, so it's always a treat when you see one as good as this pop back up. If you sign up now, you can lock in three months of the streaming service for just $3 a month, compared to the usual $10. That saves you a total of $21, and gives you access to shows and movies like Blindspotting, The Black Phone, and Party Down. This is the second week we've seen this deal live, and we don't expect it to stick around forever, so if you want to lock in this price, we recommend doing it sooner rather than later.

Best Netflix deal

One year of Netflix
Free for Verizon customers who sign up for a +play annual subscription

Why we like it

Netflix will officially be axing their cheapest ad-free subscription plan (aka their most affordable plan) in the U.K. and Canada starting in the second quarter of this year. For now, there are no details on if or when this will affect U.S. users, but don't be surprised if the plan is phased out everywhere.

So how do you get around what is essentially a price raise? Go for the deals. Though Netflix's are rare, if you're a Verizon customer, you're in luck. Through Verizon's +play streaming portal, when you buy one valid seasonal or annual subscription, you get Netflix Premium for a year for free. That's a year of Netflix's highest plan, which usually clocks in at $22.99 per month. You can also bundle Netflix Premium and Starz for $25.99 per month, saving you $6.99 per month (or $83.88 annually).
