Casper is back, baby. The quintessential bed-in-a-box brand has just launched two brand-new mattresses: The Casper, which is a throwback to the company's very first mattress model, and the Snow, which puts a big emphasis on cooling technology for those who tend to overheat while they sleep.
Both models are currently available on Casper's website, and range from Twin size all the way up to California King. Here's the lowdown on each of them.
The Casper mattress
The Casper serves as an homage to the mattress that started it all, just at a much more comfortable price (starting at just $595). The mattress employs layers of Casper's signature foam, as well as premium memory foam to provide plenty of comfort and ergonomic support through the night. It also makes great use of the brand's patented AirScape technology, which keeps the mattress breathable and diverts heat and humidity away from you while you count sheep. If you pick up The Casper directly from the company's website, you'll even get some extras, including a sheet set and a Casper Pillow.
Casper Snow mattress
The Snow mattress couldn't have come at a better time. As the weather starts warming up, overheating in the middle of the night is going to become an even bigger risk, and the Snow aims to solve that issue. You'll get the Zoned Support and premium foam construction of the other fancy Casper models, but with the addition of new cooling tech between each of the mattress layers. That includes the CoolTouch Cover, which is designed with specialized cooling yarn, HeatDelete Bands that displace heat away from your body, and the AirScape perforations that keep the mattress breathable. It's not cheap, but if you find yourself regularly waking up in puddles of sweat during the summer, it might be worth the investment.
